The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation
at
the University of Nebraska Medical Center
is a dynamic team of medical professionals who take pride
in providing the best in patient care, orthopaedic training,
and expanding cutting-edge research. Our surgeons, nurses,
physical therapists, biomedical engineers, and other specialists
work in excellent facilities in Omaha, Nebraska, a small
city known for its friendliness and central location. In
addition to state-of-the-art care, our department offers
the resources of a large, university-related hospital with
the personal care and attention of a smaller department.
Physicians
throughout the region look to award-winning faculty at the
University of Nebraska Medical Center for patient referrals,
professional consultation, and continuing education and
training. The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation
has earned a strong national reputation and enjoys enthusiastic
support from our graduates, patients, community, and the
entire region. Our laboratory facilities are expanding rapidly,
and we are proud to be world leaders in certain areas of
research.
I invite you to learn more about our department and the
Office of International Healthcare Service, which customizes
treatment programs for international patients and their
families and stimulates exciting collaborative research.
I welcome your interest in the University of Nebraska Department
of Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation and urge you to
discover all we have to offer in America's Heartland.
